CFTC VII: Fan Sighting Justin Stories

Went by fast as heck.
Justin took over the microphone for a while. I dont remember the joke exactly but he kept poking fun at Aaron Carter- Baby Carter, and saying something about his brother Nick as well.
The DJ in the booth- said that Justin scored the most points in 1 Game or something like that.. something with a 3. I dont remember exactly. Justin asked him to repeat it, and he did. and he was like uhh.. yeah.
Justin kept poking fun at Lance too. Haha. Take off his shirt. He needs to play, someone pass the ball to Lance.

Dance competition- JC, Joey, and Justin picked.. that's all I remember and some other people.
So we left the arena.. and outside.. the tunnel place where the cars were coming out. I dont know which guys of nsync left first.. but I was there when Justin left and Baby Bash and some other guy who played in the game have no idea what's his name- he was being such a diva. Where's my limo? Where am I going? Midway? I thought Ohare. yeah.
Justin came out.. went back in to change out of his jeresy. He had a gray tshirt on.
He was standing inside the tunnel waiting for his car to come. He was the only one leaving by himself.
Then he got into the car, and it sped away like crazy. -aznangelchick88

Justin was talking to someone and JC walked up behind him, put his hands on Justin's shoulders and rubbed and leaned over his back and whispered something into his ear. Apparently it was to tell him that someone was there that he'd want to see because Justin turned and was very happy to see that person as well.

Also, Justin and Chris were REALLY getting along REALLY well. Like, every time Chris was talking, Justin was just paying rapt attention to him. Every time Chris would make a joke, Justin was laughing his ass off

And overall, all five were just having FUN and getting along and it was good, good times. Chris seemed really happy, Justin was just BEAMING apparently

Joey called JC a "cheapass mother---" over the PA system at the bowling event! (Apparently Joey did a LOT of things over the PA system)  -SchizoJC

Let's see i saw all the guys, I attempted to shake JC's hand, but only got a hello. I grabbed Justin as he was coming back from peeing, and stuck out my hand and talked to him for a sec, and he was cool. Smiled, did the double-cup-hand shake of my hand and asked how i was doing, I said great he said great and went back to his lane. I'm basically an expert on what he did and who he talked to for the couple of hours he was there, cause the other guys were like ten lanes down from him. he was all the way at the end. He only stayed for 2 of the 3 games. -Ang2797

Oh, the B96 morning guy(Eddie) made a comment about Justin sounding so good on the last nsync tour because his mic was turned off. JC's camp couldn't stop laughing and applauding. It was precious. -jmnowac

This is how it went. He had just finished taking photos with people, this is inside the bowling thing...
Me: Hi, I don't want a photo, I just wanted to say hello.
Him: *sticks out his hand to shake* Well hi, what is your name?
Me: My name's Jennifer
Him: I'm Justin
Me: Yeah I kinda knew that
Him: Well yeah, but you have to be nice, you have to be polite and respectful.
We got a good giggle out of it together So yeah, he was super nice. A friend introduced me to Lance and it took ALL night for me to go up to Joey even though he was the next lane over. -JenFromJersey

Justin left early and kinda looked mad but I couldn't really tell from the angle I was at. He didn't wave or say hi or anything he came out and jumped right in the car. -squalls heart

Joey had the mic & Justin was already on the floor, and he called Jc and Lance to the floor. Then he called Chris too..and all the guys except for Chris came to the middle of the floor. I swear I thought they were going to make some sort of 'bad news' announcement or something. Chris was no where to be found. They called for him several times..he never came. Which I find odd. Because it was RIGHT after the game ended. But they all thanked us for coming.

The host hotel is going absolutely insane. The elevators keep getting stuck. As a matter of fact, when Justin got on, it would stop at each floor. Then it finally stopped for good at the 21st floor where Justin got stuck in it for God knows how long. (OH..to be in that elevator) It's just really hectic and chaotic. So now all of the celebs are saying @#%$ it..and they're starting to use the stairs. Such as JC..he came down from the stairs and came through the bar. He didn't seem too happy. But he stopped to say hello for a few minutes. Then Alfonzo (carlton) came in and asked where the bathrooms were.

At the game Joey and Justin were sharing the mic and Aaron Carter was put in the game. The guys were on a roll when they said 'Aarrrron Carter!!! I hope you have better skills than your brother!' *Then Justin called Shannon Elizabeth: Shannon Loser Elizabeth (see below starred item). **Justin didn't have a jersey like the rest of them. He was just wearing a plain white shirt..

There was no sign of Cameron anywhere, I thought she was gonna come. Lance only played in the game for like 45 seconds..seriously. I have no idea why he didn't play. But towards the end, dirty pop came on is it was mass hysteria (for the size of the crowd anyway).. Lance's eyes lit up! And JC was mouthing along. God I wish they would have performed.. *sigh*

That's all for now, once again..sorry it's so scattered!...

...And the only people that are 'allowed' on the elevators with Justin and JC are body guards. You can ride with the rest of the guys. -JoeysTinkerbell

*Actually, I think he was calling her "Shannon Bruiser Elizabeth" as a joke because she's so frail-looking, yet she was fouling everyone like crazy. Girl's hands were all over the place. Just wanted to clear that up.

The Aaron/Nick Carter stuff was pretty funny. Justin was like, "I'm just joking. It was a joke!" Sure Justin...sure.-FuAngel 20

I got the impression from posts about past events that the guys were beefin', but this year it looked to me that they were really buddy-buddy with each other. I saw a lot of hugging it out among *NSYNC members, which made me really happy!...

...Joey, Justin and Chris all came out together and when they reached their team, they body bumped a huge NFL guy simultaneously.

There was a lot of attempted pantsing going on... Chris tried to get JC more than once but didn't succeed... then Shannon Elizabeth halfway pantsed Lafawndah ...

...Justin bugged me at the start of the game (wait let me finish! hehe) because he didn't start, and he was chillin on his bench with his non-jersey acting like he didnt want to be there... and then when he did play, he kept taking half court shots like a ballhog showoff.... Only later did I realize halfcourt was 25pts (which he did make in the 4th qtr) and it was for $2,500 to a charity... and then he won me over when he did his hilarious sideline commentary. For example, knockin on Aaron Carter or more like Nick when he said things like "The Good-looking Carter" (but my cousin said she heard The Good little Carter) or "I hope you're better than your brother" (i think this was said already?). He kept calling #8 a ballhog, calling him really serious, and reminding him that it was all for charity so chill out, hehe.

He also gave play-by-plays REALLYFAST like an auction or a horse race. It was mostly gibberish with names or "passes to" stuck in there. He'd say random things for the other time like "HE WALKED" or "BRICK!" but in the lowest unexcited voice, it was funny. He also tried to instigate a fight between Beverly Mitchell and David Gallagher, yelling "7TH HEAVEN FIGHT!" It was more entertaining that the half assed Billy Bush commentary (who says coast to coast anymore?!) or Johnny Wright mentioning sponsors every 5 minutes (lol jk I understand he HAS to do that).

BTW, someone said earlier that Justin and some announcer were going back and forth about something, the announcer saying Justin was the highest scorer in the last games or whatever... that announcer was Johnny Wright. Johnny was also saying funny things, like in the 1st qtr after Joey subbed-out, Johnny said "We need oxygen on the floor for Mr. Fatone."

They kept trying to get Lance in the game, toward the end of 1st half. Lance took Billy Bush's mic and said "Of course you want me to play when you're up by 10 pts" or something to that effect. He said he was too busy coaching and ended it with a nice big "I SUCK!" But then he went in for about half a minute in his WARM UP PANTS. Joey or Justin said TAKE OFF YOUR PANTS. 

The fan recycling bit was crap. Only thing you need to know was the part where the contestant had to toss a flower in a flower pot 5 ft away, and the girl couldn't do it for the longest time, so Justin ran over to help. He stood over the pot, she tossed the flower to him, and he dropped it down for her. That was sweet.

There was a fan dance competition (to some crap music selections)...There was a 20-ish guy who did some '80s pop lock or soemthing. Then the guy who like humped the floor like a friggin' Chippendale's dancer, he went to my high school so that was a strange moment for me. Also I think after he won, he and Shannon Elizabeth were juking a bit, but then somehow she fell underneath him and he did his moves (felt bad for her, she looked embarrassed).

But that one lil kid, he was just raw. Justin picked him out but was all trash talking at first, "You think you can dance, I don't think you can dance" and the kid did some sort of head roll move thingie, and Justin grabbed him so fast and brought him out. And when he danced (like those kids in Missy Elliot videos), celebs were brushing his shoulders off and pimping his shirt. Justin at one point kneeled in front of the kid and dusted off where he danced, or touched the floor and brought it back real quick like it was hot. That was a really cute moment. Oh I cant forget, the celebs tried to push Alfonso (Carlton) to the middle but he didnt want to. At the end he busted out with Michael Jackson moves (like in the Soul Train/Phillip and Vivian's anniversary Fresh Prince episode hehe). Then afterwards, during the game when he was benched, Joey or Justin said "blah blah blah subbing in for Michael Jackson."

Hmm what else... JC was allowed 5 free throws at one point, and if he made 3 in a row, $$ would be donated to charity by the event sponsers. He missed all his shots but they gave $$ anyway I think? Then some random guy was allowed like 3 free throws. If he MISSED, they would donate $$ to charity again... So Chris was standing right next to the guy nonchalantly, but when the guy shot, Chris blocked him. I think Justin did something too? Feel free to fill in for me, CFTC-goers. Then after the game Justin was allowed 15 shots for 40 seconds at halfcourt, and he hit 2 of them but was on the mark for every shot anyway.

And at the end, they took a group team pic and milled around. I don't remember an actual trophy ceremony for the trophies...And then Joey kept telling us to "LEAVE, GO, VAMINOS!" Justin said "you aint gotta go home," passed the mic to Joey, who paused in thought for a sec and finished with a "but you gotta get the hell up outta here." -AirykahShaznay

I met Justin and asked him why he dared to be different. He wears his shirt the way he does because he likes the color baby blue and was unhappy that they never make the Daze team baby blue instead. And then I asked about the socks. "Why so high?" I asked.  His answer was because he was hiding an injury, and he did not want to make it so obviously noticeable like last year. He was just making it a fun day and not a worry fest. -Anonymous

...As I got to the door to go into the Porters restaurant, Justin came walking out. He pointed over at the crowd of people and kinda laughed because they didn’t even see him come out over there. I was standing about 3 feet from him and snapped a picture, then said, “Hey Justin,” to which he replied, “Hey how’s it going?” That was cool...

..One of the other girls we were hanging out with had never met Justin before and was dying too, so I told her that we should go sit outside by the door that I had seen him leave from earlier. We sat out there for maybe a half hour or so and then I saw a car pull up behind us. Sure enough it was Justin and he was very kind and stopped for pics and autographs. I had him sign my shirt and was about to get a pic, but got pushed out of the way by some chick. So I didn’t get a pic but that’s cool, I was just glad that my friend was able to...

...The game was very entertaining to watch. I enjoyed seeing Chris try to pants JC, and Justin on the microphone was classic. All of that “Oh baby, oooh baby” was so funny. Then I heard him say something to Aaron along the lines of, “You got way more talent then your brother.” Oh, and Justin got the whole crowd to start chanting, “We want Lance” because Lance hadn’t played at all yet. He was also making fun of Lance for still having his warm up pants on. When Lance finally went into the game for about 15 seconds, I loved how Justin was like, “Pass the ball to Lance, even if your not on his team give it to him, don’t worry he’ll miss it.” lol Then Lance went to make a really easy shot and missed, grabbed the mic from Justin and was all, “Man I suck!” lol I don’t think I have laughed so hard at one of these games since maybe the Orlando one (when Chris poured an entire bottle of Coke on a ref). I was a bit bummed that Chris never really got on the mic, but it was fun nonetheless. Also, when Joey got to me with the box that he was collecting money in, I reached into my pocked thinking it was a $5 and instead stuck in a $20! lol Joey looked in the box and was all, “Why thaaaaannnkk you!” So I guess I’m not mad I did it. I still think that was booze money for them later that night. lol

The rest of the game went by and during that time the DJ played ‘Pop’, ‘Girlfriend’ and ‘Gone’. I loved seeing the crowd get so hyped up when the NSYNC songs came on, but when ‘Gone’ was on I got all sad. The Knights won the game and I could not tell you the score if you asked me. lol After the game had ended and they were just mingling on the court, Joey was calling all five guys to get to the middle of the court for them to all talk. JC got on the mic and started saying, “We have been around for a long time now and we have appreciated everything you all have done…” and I instantly got sad thinking they were going to make a big, “We’re breaking up” announcement or something. Luckily though, that didn’t happen, and Lance said, “See you next year,” so that gave me some hope.

After the game we left and took the Blue line back to the hotel. My friend and I decided to go sit in the bar area since something was going on with the elevators (I heard one caught fire or something?). It was going to be a while before we could get back upstairs so we just hung out in there and listened to music and stuff. Right as we got in there Justin came walking though to leave a go eat. We saw the door that he was walking through so we grabbed a table right by it. The bartender was nice and said we could sit there without buying anything, so it was cool... -ShakeItJC

About the whole deal with Justin leaving....he left Saturday night at about 10 to catch a flight. He was signing autographs and stuff, so he didn't seem sick. I have also heard he acts real pissy when hes sick (as like everyone else in this world), but he seemed to be in good spirits. The body guards were pushing him on and he apoligized and said he had to catch a flight. -Amber04

Ok, I feel odd about telling everyone this. Because I'm sure a lot of people won't believe it. So, believe what you want. But this guy is legit.

- Nsync is not breaking up.

- ALL of the guys are getting along GREAT

- We asked him if the guys discussed AT ALL about getting together for a new album. All he would say really was "3 years". We were like WHAT?! Three years?! He says again '3 years, and you'll have your album. He said Justin has 3 movies coming out in the future he has to promote, and JC has a CD coming out. 3 years is enough time for them to 'focus'. No press or anything was at breakfast, just strictly the guys and some of the people involved w/CFTC.

- Look for JC's CD the 2nd week of August.

- Justin WANTS to be with Nsync. They all want to be!

- He didn't know anything about another solo Justin CD.

...Because this guy seemed pretty serious to me. He had breakfast with them for Gods sake. It's not like he had breakfast with media who said they heard this from a bodyguard who heard it from melinda, who heard Chris talking on the phone to his friend. This came from THE GUYS' mouths.

...They had events fans couldn’t even buy tickets for, then they GAVE AWAY passes on the radio.

The party didn’t have pre-sold tickets, which is great for profits, but crappy for an out-of-towner, who planned to go and may not be let in because some drunk guys that heard about it on the radio on a Saturday night hoped he could see Cameron Diaz or Shannon Elizabeth... I was just nervous about how it would all turn out. It seemed poorly planned...

There are several CFTC traditions that have to be upheld and they were well on their way. I just had to miss Justin three times and get into an argument with a cabdriver and I’d be set...

We went back for the bowling thing, annoyed that we couldn’t go. I didn’t want to complain about not being in, especially if I got to see the guys. We were just standing around and the attendants starting setting up velvet ropes and we were excited because we thought they’d walk down the aisle and we’d pictures of them that way. That was wishful thinking. The red carpet was actually a red @#%$ RUG and they just hopped out of the vans, waved at the fans and then posed for pictures. The NSYNC CFTC banner was actually on an angle, so people were peering around it to take pictures of the guys. In some of the pictures, you can see the fans. It was so stupid.

Everyone who stayed at the hotel kept asking why we were standing there and what was going on. We just told them “NSYNC is here…” and they just rolled their eyes or some people thought it was neat. One Bank One employee stood around with us for awhile.

I saw all of the guys around through a plant and over the heads of fans. I took pictures the best I could with my giant Minolta. Tati and Dylan were cracking on it the whole trip, but I wanted good pictures. JC was the last to arrive, of course and he popped up with the Duck Butt and a bright pink shirt, much to the fans delight. Justin came wearing his St. Louis shirt, which must be the new item of clothing he’s obsessed with now (Thank God, it’s not the green jacket)...

...We also saw them carry in tons of NSYNC gear, including an autographed costume from “Space Cowboys” in POT. I’m pretty sure it was Justin’s. I touched it...

...We waited and waited and a lot of people came up to ask what was going on. We told them NSYNC was there and they’re like ‘Who? Justin Timberlake’s in there?” Tati and I were even trying to convince this guy to let his girlfriend get in the line because she liked Joey and JC and he was like ‘Baby, I love you, but NO!” I said “Cameron Diaz might be in there…and Shannon Elizabeth…” The girlfriend was like “Yeah, you think she’s cute…” He just shook his head and pulled her along. Hey, I tried. (We figured Cameron was there because no one reported her being there and she had her trial on Friday and it’s a LONG FLIGHT from California to Illinois.) -KiraJanelle
