Nsync (Debut) The first single off of this LP , "I Want You Back" was certified Gold and rose to number nine on the Billboard Top 40 (March 21, 1998). "Tearin' Up My Heart," the group's next release debuted at 37 on the Billboard top 40 on July 18, 1998 and worked its way to number one by October. Nsync went platinum after five months of the release of their debut CD. "(God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time On You" as well as the last single off Nsync, "I Drive Myself Crazy" both went top ten. Nsync became the fifth largest selling album of 1998, selling 4.4 million copies the year end. Nsync is 10x platinum today.
Music Of My Heart appeared on the soundtrack for Gloria Estefan's debut movie role, and topped the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Sales chart for a week.
Home For Christmas was released in November of 1998 and was certified platinum in December of 1998. The LP is currently two times platinum.
No Strings Attached was released in March 2000 and famously sold 1.1 million copies in its first 24 hours of release, and 2.4 million in its first week on shelves. This is more than half of what whas shipped to stores worldwide. "Bye Bye Bye," the first single from NSA spent nine weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 list. By April, NSA was 7x platinum and it sat at number one on the Billboard Album Charts for three weeks. "It's Gonna Be Me," the second single, placed at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 charts for two weeks, and the last single, "This I Promise You" spent 13 weeks at number one n the Billboard Adult Contemporary charts. NSA was named Billboard's number one album of the year, and is 11x platinum today.
Celebrity was released in July 2001. Selling 1.8 million copies in a week, Celebrity was the second fasting album in history only behind their last CD. "Pop," was the first single to be realeased off Celebrity. It spent two weeks topping the MTV TRL countdown, as well as the second single, "Gone" which spent much time at number one on TRL. The third single was "Girlfriend." All three releases were top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 for some time. The remixfor "Girlfriend" featuring rapper Nelly also followed that pattern. Celebrity is now five times platinum.
Justified "Like I Love You" was Timberlake's debut solo single and it debuted at number one on Billboard's Hot 100. Over 439,000 copies of Justified were sold in its first week (11/5/02). Justin topped the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart for a week with the 'Deep Dish & Basement Jazz Mixes.' The album topped the UK album charts for 7 weeks, and peaked at number two in the U.S. "Cry Me A River" was the second single off the CD and made Justin king of the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales chart for 3 weeks and the Hot Dance Singles Sales chart for 5 weeks. "Rock your Body" became number one for four weeks on the singles chart. In February 2005, the third single was certified gold. "Senorita" went as far as Billboard Hot 100's Top 10. Justified is about 8x platinum worldwide.
Where Is The Love was an innovative creation Justin made with the Black Eyed Peas, and it rose to the Billboard Top single for two weeks in Summer 2003.
Signs appeared on Snoop Dogg's CD, Rhythm and Gangsta (2005). The track featured Justin and Uncle Charlie Wilson. It hit Billboard Hot 100's Top 10 in March 2005.
